Developing new and improved RFID tags, especially for novel uses, depends upon matching materials and assembly methods. SPF-Inc and its associates have decades of experience with labels and tags for challenging environments, and more recently for RFID. Here we are matching inlay films and papers to packaging and containers, for higher recycle recovery, and for sustainability factors, including Carbon Footprint. Concurrently, assembly methods may need changing to maintain or improve productivity, and we have relationships throughout the supplier and manufacturing community. Our affiliation with RAIN began a decade ago, and we are active with technical workgroups.
Alan Rabinowitz is a long-time colleague and RFID system developer. He and his associates, develop and install custom innovative item or staff tracking systems, sold into, for example, commercial, retail, and hospitality facilities. Our specialty is a narrow niche for small systems of high value items, within complicated facilities. Our customers benefit by working directly with decision makers, and our team of industry recognized electronic and software engineers. A multi-building residential complex with secure entry, parking areas and luggage carts specific to each building, was implemented with an extended RAIN system, which pleased both residents and managers. Client gets a Total Solution which includes development hardware & software, real life prototyping, and assembly. There are few limits to venue of installation. And if Client is itself a supplier of RFID systems, it may procure the solution IP for its own production.
