The ‘RFID Basics’ webinar, the first in a series of three events looking at the role of RFID in the labeling industry, will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of the technology and detail the differences between the various types of RFID tags available – active, passive and battery-assisted –, as well as different frequencies, how they behave and other critical aspects of RFID technology. The webinar will include a brief overview of the EPC global network, the future of ISO standards, ETSI reader regulations and the latest standardization efforts worldwide.
