RAIN Tags in Tyres Masterclass
The essential knowledge required for the use of RAIN tags in Tyres
This 1½-day RAIN Alliance Training explores how RAIN technology in tyres is evolving beyond inventory accuracy to deliver rich, real-time data that powers advanced business analytics, unlocks new service-based revenue streams, and creates significant value across the tyre ecosystem. RAIN technology is also a foundational enabler of global regulatory initiatives which will have significant impact in the Tyre Industry.
Why Attend?
Delivered by RAIN Alliance members with practical experience in the deployment of RAIN technology in Tyres, this one-day course will enable you to:
- Understand the key business drivers behind adopting RAIN Technology in the Tyres market.
- Understand the physical, environmental, and technical challenges of embedding RAIN RFID technology into tyres.
- Learn best practices to efficiently embed RFID tag in tyres and understand how it can enable identifying tyres from cradle to grave and build connected services.
Day 1: 19th May
Targeted at Tyre Manufacturers the RAIN Alliance Tyres Masterclass, is an in-depth training course created by the RAIN Alliance and its members. The masterclass provides a deep dive into how to best use RAIN RFID technology in tyres, with practical, hands-on guidance on embedding RAIN RFID tags at industrial scale. Designed specifically for tyre industry engineers, technicians, and technical leaders, the course addresses the physical, environmental, and technical challenges of deploying sustainable RFID tags in tyres.
DAY 2: Morning of 20th May
Aimed at the broader Tyre ecosystem members, downstream from the manufacturers. The focus is on how embedded RAIN tags drives immediate value creation for the whole tyre ecosystem. The data associated with a tires digital twin fundamentally changes how our work is performed, improving safety, asset optimisation and compliance as well as end of life traceability. This interactive workshop will explore use cases including:
- Fleet safety and compliance.
- Tyre service accuracy and efficiency.
- Re-treading and optimisation.
- End of Life traceability and recycling.
- Data access, and interoperability.
