GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document represents a commitment to become a RAIN in Action! Sponsor and shall serve as a binding agreement between the parties.

Sponsors acknowledge their participation is at the sole business discretion of RAIN Alliance. By virtue of partner’s decision to participate as a RAIN in Action! Sponsor, sponsor agrees they will not directly or indirectly, expressly or implicitly solicit, recruit or otherwise promote to Summit participants any product, service or organization that is in any way competitive with RAIN Alliance without the advanced, expressed written permission of those organizations.

Your sponsorship is not confirmed until RAIN Alliance receives your payment. If RAIN Alliance does not receive payment within 2 months’ of the event’s start date, your sponsorship is subject to termination. Please note, payment is required no later than 2 months’ prior (23 July 2024) to the event start date, 23 September 2024, in order to receive recognition at RAIN in Action!.

In the case of any act or cause outside of the control of the parties, including, but not limited to acts of war, terrorism, fire, strike, natural disaster, or other emergency, that makes the fulfillment of the sponsorship impossible or inadvisable, RAIN Alliance may retain such part of the sponsor’s fees as shall be required to recompense it for its expenses and obligations related to the participation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, RAIN Alliance shall attempt to maximize its resources to avoid any such liabilities.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND DEADLINES:

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to events@therainalliance.org:

• 23 May 2024 for a full refund
• 30 July for 50% refund
• No refunds will be made for cancellations after 30 July 2024
