Benefits

RAIN Alliance has two levels of Membership:  Collaborator Member and Community Member. Here are the benefits as listed in the membership agreement:

Community Members can:

  • Attend all RAIN Alliance meetings
  • Display the RAIN Alliance logo on the Member’s website
  • Include a link to the Member’s website on the RAIN Alliance website
  • Participate in Communities, Workgroups, and other RAIN Alliance work efforts
  • Receive discounts on meeting and training registration fees

Collaborator Members receive all of the above PLUS these additional benefits — they can:

  • Propose and lead work efforts
  • Display the RAIN Alliance logo on their products
  • Vote on all RAIN Alliance voting matters
  • Nominate persons (or have employees be nominated) to run for (i) seats on the Board and/or (ii) leadership positions in Communities and Workgroups

Membership Dues

Collaborator Memberships are revenue-based:

User Member US$ 8,000.00

User Member Fee: US$ 8,000.00

User Member is a user of, and not directly involved in the development or sale of, RAIN technology.  The RAIN Alliance President (as authorized by the Board of Directors) shall have sole discretion to determine whether any applicant meets the foregoing criteria.

User members of RAIN technology follow the same revenue-based fee structure as other collaborator members, but their membership fee is $8,000, even if their revenue would otherwise result in a higher fee.

Community Membership: Yearly Fee is US$ 1,500

Community membership is limited to companies with annual revenue under $1,000,000 or fewer than five employees, for each year they participate. Divisions of larger corporations with revenue exceeding $1,000,000 are not eligible to be Community Members. The RAIN Alliance President, with Board approval, has sole discretion to determine eligibility. Academic bodies, trade associations, and non-RAIN entities providing services (e.g., insurance or recruiting) may also qualify at the President’s discretion.
